Terms of Service

TEP is a marketplace platform that lets customers browse a curated catalogue of event furniture, décor, and props and submit quote/rental enquiries, which we forward to our network of independent rental vendor partners. TEP does not itself own, warehouse, or deliver the rental inventory shown on the Service, and submitting a quote request does not create a binding rental agreement.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information when registering and to keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at connect@theeventprops.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

Businesses may apply to join our rental vendor network via the “Register as Vendor” flow, providing organisation, contact, and business details. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. We may verify submitted information, and we may approve, reject, or suspend a vendor account at our discretion, including for inaccurate information or policy violations.

• Adding items to your cart or wishlist, or submitting a quote/enquiry, is a request only — not a confirmed booking.
• Prices, quantities, colours, and availability shown on the Service are indicative and sourced from vendor inventory data, which can change without notice.
• Each quote line is subject to confirmation by the supplying vendor, who may fully accept, partially accept, or reject a request based on actual stock.
• Final pricing, deposits, delivery/pickup logistics, and rental terms for a confirmed order are agreed separately with our team and/or the vendor, outside the checkout flow on this Service, since TEP does not process payments online.

Where you submit information or files to the Service (for example, event details, product enquiries, or vendor/catalogue images), you confirm you have the right to share it and grant TEP a licence to use, store, and display it as needed to operate the Service. You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the rights to share.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• Scrape, data-mine, or use automated means to access the Service beyond normal browsing;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data;
• Submit false vendor, business, or registration information; or
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

The TEP name, logo, catalogue design, and site content are owned by TEP or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Product images and descriptions supplied by vendor partners remain the property of those vendors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use TEP's or a vendor's trademarks or content outside the Service without prior written consent.

Rental items listed on the Service are supplied by independent, third-party vendor businesses. TEP facilitates the connection and quote process but is not a party to, and is not responsible for, the quality, condition, safety, delivery, or fulfilment of any item rented from a vendor. Disputes about a specific rental should be raised with the supplying vendor; we will reasonably assist where we can, but the vendor is ultimately responsible for its own goods and services.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TEP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service or any rental arranged through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount, if any, you paid to TEP directly for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold TEP harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or violation of any law or third-party right.

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Service, or where required by law. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
